Cycle tour day 15

Time. It stops for no one.

Each break day has to be calculated and analysed. Daniel has a spreadsheet now that lets him quickly look up details about our targets to make sure we keep on track. We are working with very limited time and each break day costs valuable kilometres that have to be made up for in other days.

It looks like we are going to make it to Nordkapp. Our margins are not large.

Today entered Finland for the first time. It feels like we are finally making some proper progress. It looks like the next week is going to be quite rainy so we are getting prepared for that. The nights are getting colder too. It can be hard to get up in the morning. Lying in my warm sleeping bag it is very hard to convince myself to get up and spend all day cycling in the freezing wind and rain.
